Privacy Policy
Gaming Tribune ("we," "us") operates gamingtribune.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple on purpose: we collect very little.
Information we collect
Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use it only to send you the newsletter. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Contact. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can reply.
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is used for security and to keep the site running, and is retained according to Netlify's own policies.
Cookies and advertising
We may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will continue to work without them.
How we use your information
- To send the newsletter you signed up for
- To respond when you contact us
- To keep the site secure and functioning
- To display advertising, once advertising is enabled
Your rights and choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing contact@gamingtribune.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and objection to processing. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention and security
We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe. Form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms and stored on their infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we limit what we collect so there is little to lose.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle newsletter data will be announced in the newsletter itself.
